''I can't get it together. I thought I was alright, but I'm not. You can't help me, I can't help me, it's just how it ended up.''
Andrew, 36, is still lost some would say. He's struggled with everything a man can struggle with: drugs, alcohol, school, career, and religion. But just like all things in his life, Andrew managed to half-ass his shortcomings just as well as his passions. Nothing quite sinks below the surface for him, good or bad. He made it out alright enough, never really accomplishing anything, more or less drifting along and hoping that some jarring moment would change his life.
He did what most people do, found religion (The Satanic Temple) and a job that could pay the bills. Eventually, he even found himself a lover - a deeply broken man named Sean who re-sparked his love for the Church. For the first time, something seemed to break through the surface! But as he blows the candles out on his birthday cake, the most celebrated day in his book, he sees his reflection in the dimming candle; by now, his passion would have grabbed him by his heartstrings and told him where to go...right?
This is the saga of a man like most of us, without a dashing tale of adventure or any particular talents. Where he goes from here could be anywhere, or it could be nowhere. Either aren't particularly interesting to him.
