Sinclair "Sin" Parker is what you'd call the Nightmare gone rogue. After years of torment from his once-teacher, the young Sinclair is put on display for the head of the MPA as the answer to a society struggling for perfection: a killing machine that cannot be outfought or outfoxed. Sinclair would gain wide acclaim as Nightmare 1; the template boy from which all Nightmare training would follow. Liam took special praise to his first pupil before turning his attention to the droves of officers sent his way, and in this fashion, the largest behavioral police unit in the country was formed.
When people speak of the Nightmares, they do so behind closed doors and with a hushed whisper. There's many grievances that could land you on the Mission list, they say: staying out too late, drinking, smoking, and other wise engaging in non-approved behaviors. They may find special targets in those who spread rumors about their occupation. But the Nightmares are a necessary evil, and it is this organization that is to blame for the quality of life we lead in these times.
Sinclair, once an adult, grew jealous for the affection of his master. His bitterness grew as he watched Liam fawn over his new playthings, and jealousy drove him to do the unthinkable. The ultimate killing machine has been let loose onto the world with knife in hand, and with one mission: to take apart the very institution he had unknowingly set into motion years and years ago.
