Do you intend on publishing?

We do have intent to publish as of 2020. Now that we are both done with our Bachelor's and have worked in our field for a couple of years, we've reached a level of stability that would allow us to chase this lifelong dream of ours. Stay posted!

When did you start writing? Why do you write?

Writing is nothing short of a spiritual experience for the both of us. We grow, learn, and become aware of so many topics via our writing and research. We both first fell in love with reading at an early age, exhausting our school library of new materials every school year. So, naturally, what could come next? The best way to write is to read first, just as the best way to talk is to listen first.

Like all great things, the beginning of our writing was really, really shitty. In fact, it's great to be shitty even now - it just means there's possibilty for growth. In 1999 or 2000, we began collaborating to create unique short stories involving original characters. We were 9 or 10 years old, and it was a great hobby to distract ourselves after school while our parents were working their second evening jobs. As we grew closer and older, we began writing about more topics that interested us, branching further into topics that terrified us. During our teenage years, writing became an instrumental coping mechanism for all of the difficulties we faced. We began to look at writing as more of a necessity than a hobby or a pass-time, and by the time we had began college courses and moved away from home; writing had taken root in our soul. It's unimaginable to think of life without writing. We write because we cannot not write, and even when we are exhausted from work or stressed about our coursework, we are driven to continue. We will never stop, no matter the result.

You have way too many characters - are you ever going to stop?

God, I hope not!

There are so many cultures, religions, beliefs, stories, genders, sexualities, types of relationships, what ifs, in this world and every. single. person. lives them differently, resulting in a different life and a different story to tell. There is no way in my lifetime, or even in 100 lifetimes, that we would be able to explore them all but even by scratching the surface, people are made more aware of others and with any luck, more accepting of their life and more willing to sit and listen.
